GCSE Tuition
For GCSE level tutoring, we’ll work on improving your skills in speaking, listening, reading and writing. A big focus will be on making you feel comfortable and spontaneous when speaking. During our speaking sessions, we’ll talk a lot about the topics you’ve studied. This helps to boost your confidence and make your speaking more accurate overall.
In writing, we’ll pay attention to being precise, understanding different tenses, and mastering complex grammatical structures to get higher grades. If needed, we can review certain topics, and I have lots of materials to help you. We’ll also work on improving how well you understand spoken French. I’ll show you how to understand French in different contexts with a few simple tips, helping you to feel more confident.

A-level Tuition
For A-level tutoring, the main focus is on helping you feel comfortable and confident when talking about more complex topics. We’ll work on speaking and writing with an extra emphasis on using advanced grammar correctly. We might spend some time practicing specific grammar points like past tense, subjunctive, pluperfect, conditional perfect tenses, and indirect object pronouns.
I’ll also guide you through your assessment preparations, paying particular attention to your speaking exam, as this is the one which students often find most daunting. We will discuss how you can access the top marks and practise the skills required so you feel as prepared as you can. With my experience in conducting speaking exams during my teaching practice, I can offer ways in which to tackle tricky questions and teach you how to impress the examiner with higher level vocabulary, phrases and grammar. All of this will help enable you to reach the grades you need for your chosen university path.
